Shorefront Access: 5200 ft of Shorefront.  

Walking and Biking Trails: The Flood Gate Trail is a restored woods road with grassed surface that leads from the Hardscrabble parking and reception area to the Flood Gate Point (0.25 miles – each way).  

Hiking Trails: The Hardscrabble River Hiking Trail begins at the head of tide on Meadow Brook and follows Meadow Brook to it’s confluence at the Hardscrabble River. From the Meadow Brook-Hardscrabble confluence the trail heads south along the Hardscrabble River where it meets the Flood Gate Trail (0.5 miles). From Flood Gate Point the Hardscabble River Hiking Trail continues south passed historic pilings to an overlook with a long vista north up the Hardsrabble River (0.5 miles – each way). 

Picnicking: Picnic tables are in the meadow at the edge of Meadow Brook and near Flood Gate Point.
