Visitors are welcome if they adhere to the following rules
- Visitors shall respect the quiet enjoyment of nature
- Please, no radios, drones, or loud noise
- No RVs or other large vehicles in Cobscook Shores parking lots
- Paddlers are welcome at all of our parklands, no motorboats please, except for clamming access
- Dogs are welcome on leash only. Dogs may be off leash at Old Farm Point
- Please clean up after your dog. Dog waste can cause clam flat closures. Protect water quality and livelihoods. All other pets are prohibited
- We are a carry in/carry out facility. Leave no trace
- Camping and cooking are allowed at designated tent sites at Huckins Beach and Trail. Fires are prohibited in all Cobscook Shores parklands
- Picnicking is encouraged at Cobscook Shores. All food, drink, and other waste must be carried out
- Any visitor who violates any of these rules will be asked to leave the parklands immediately and will not be allowed to return nor will his or her vehicle be permitted to return
- It would be very much appreciated if visitors would remove debris from trail and trash inadvertently dropped by other visitors
- Cobscook Shores parklands are open Dawn To Dusk, May – October; Red Point Nature Preserve is open 9am to 5pm, May – October. ***Walk-in camping rules:-Please bring your own drinking water, there is no potable water at Huckins Beach.-Maximum stay: three nights.-No campfires permitted at any Cobscook Shores parklands.-Visitors shall respect the quiet enjoyment of nature.
